and &lt;/span&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:medium;"&gt;neuroscientist&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:medium;"&gt; Gottfried Schlaug found that professional musicians who started playing before the age of 7 have an unusually thick corpus callosum, &lt;/span&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:large;"&gt;the bundle of axons that serves as an information superhighway&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:large;"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:large;"&gt;between&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:medium;"&gt; the left and right &lt;/span&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:large;"&gt;sides of the brain&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:medium;"&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:medium;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-tab-span" style="WHITE-SPACE: pre"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;Schlaug and colleagues saw this as evidence that &lt;/span&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:large;"&gt;musical training&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:medium;"&gt; era para &lt;strong&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:large;"&gt;diminuir o tempo&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; de ida e volta entre duas cidades próximas.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:x-large;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51, 102, 255);"&gt;Contra Relógio&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Um lindo final de tarde. Um dia ótimo para treinar.&lt;br /&gt;Mas com um vento contrário na ida, era previsível que o resultado fosse ruim. Evitei as marchas pesadas para economizar energia.&lt;br /&gt;A questão não era eu economizar minhas energias, mas o resultado. Precisava diminuir o tempo.&lt;br /&gt;Na volta precisei aplicar uma brincadeira de adolescente, que hoje se tornou o que nós chamamos de tática.&lt;br /&gt;A tática era encontrar o &lt;strong&gt;vácuo&lt;/strong&gt;, que &lt;strong&gt;diminuiria a resistência&lt;/strong&gt; do vento, fazendo com que eu &lt;strong&gt;aumentasse&lt;/strong&gt; minha &lt;strong&gt;velocidade&lt;/strong&gt;. O tempo a mais da ida precisava ser tirado na volta.&lt;br /&gt;Nunca tente o método que vai ser explicado, a não ser que você tenha um técnico junto com você.&lt;br /&gt;Começava com as marchas leves para ganhar velocidade e aos poucos aumentava para as mais pesadas evitando gastos de energia.&lt;br /&gt;Quando percebia um carro vindo atrás, me preparava ficando em pé na bicicleta.&lt;br /&gt;Ao ser ultrapassado arriscava um sprint e procurava ficar bem atrás do carro.&lt;br /&gt;O carro "abria" o ar à minha frente criando uma região por onde eu pedalava.&lt;br /&gt;Era o &lt;strong&gt;vácuo&lt;/strong&gt;. &lt;strong&gt;Baixíssima resistência do ar&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Eu conseguia ficar na região do vácuo por poucos segundos, tempo suficiente para ter um aumento na minha velocidade sem muito gasto de energia.&lt;br /&gt;A tática é mais bem aplicada atrás de caminhões. A região de vácuo que eles abrem é maior, e como normalmente a velocidade deles é menor do que a dos carros, o tempo que conseguimos ficar no vácuo é maior.&lt;br /&gt;Num ótimo final de tarde, um ótimo resultado.
